Piccino's expanding into new space, next to new wine and clothing stores

One of the hot topic discussed in Rebuild Potrero's community meeting on Tuesday is the development's density. Police have apprehended alleged Chez Maman robber, as more details emerge

Report from today's Boosters meeting

I went to the Boosters meeting today on the redevelopment of Potrero Terrace and Annex. I thought I'd post a brief report for those who couldn't attend. Others who have been present are of course welcome to add/ammend.

A huge turnout with dozens of people standing in the back of the room, all present for an hour long presentation followed by Q&A. All part of the neighborhood were represented (Hill, Terrac, and Annex). Overall it was a very civil affair and I suspect much of the i… Continue

2235 Third St. housing project receives stimulus funding

According to the San Francisco Business times, the housing project going up at 2235 Third St. is in line to receive stimulus funding. The California Tax Credit Allocation Committee today doled out a pool of $800 million in federal stimulus funds to affordable housing projects across California.
